Steering Committee

The highest decision body, responsible for development direction, resource allocation, and performance evaluation.

  • Convener: the President, symbolizing strategic height.
  • Deputy convener: a Vice President (administrative or academic).
  • Members: the VP for R&D, college deans (law, business, public affairs, social science, humanities, sustainability, ECE), distinguished scholars, and flagship industry leaders.

  • Center Director: a professor of international academic standing with cross-domain integration ability, appointed by the President.
  • Technical Director: one position, leading technical R&D on a dual track.

  • Industrial Technology: TRL 3–7 translation into smart manufacturing, healthcare, sustainability, and communications.
  • Cross-Domain Application: the core of AI4X, with technical managers as academic translators.
  • Education & Innovation: AI4X micro-programs plus AI ethics, law, and governance research.
